To kick this new venture off, we're having an exclusive wrap design made by Girasol.
This design (at the top) was a team effort from the members of the Baby-Carriers-Downunder Google Group. The olive greens are there to honour the founder of the group and babywearing guru/daddy Paulus. It's his favourite colour.
The red and purple are colours we settled on as the ones most of us like. It's the Downunder Girasol.
The wrap is expected to be available in June or July '10.

ReplyDeleteHi. I'm a friend of Irma's who used to import the Girasol. I live in Dunedin and I'm keen for our local alternative baby shop to stock a woven wrap. Do you sell to shops or only direct to the public? Obviously it would have to be worth their while to source the Girasol through you and sell it on for a profit. So obviously it would have to be the same price as you sell it for. Is that possible? I want to put a proposal to them. The Storchenweige is the most common one it seems, but I own a Girasol and love it.

I use the Girasol for a number of the Wrap demos - though unless you know them you wouldn't pick that it is a Girasol.
